Spring of 2019 brought a "Super Bloom" to parts of Southern California. A super bloom is a colloquial term used to define an explosion of wildflowers that exceeds typical spring blooms. Whether it was the torrential rains following the extreme drought conditions for several years or just Mother Nature showing off, it was AWESOME! I was lucky enough to experience this years Super Bloom on the Carrizo Plain in San Luis Obispo County and in the Antelope Valley located in northern Los Angeles County.
