Collection: CityEscape - Washington D.C.

Over the years I have noticed that people from certain parts of Maryland and Virginia say they are from D.C. In fact, the Washington Metropolitan Area includes these geographical locations. I have several strong ties to this region but the two most core, are that when my paternal grandparents escaped Austria this is where they settled, and I share a birthday with Thomas Jefferson.
The National Mall is breathtaking and the changing seasons provide different visual flavors.
 D.C., like many New England cities, presents a phenomenal juxtaposition of old and new architecture combined with the different water ways that drip with history.
Also, I like West Wing.
