04.08.20 - "The Rona 2020: 1.5 Million served worldwide" was created after 20 days of following the "stay at home" order put forth by California Governor Gavin Newsom. I woke up on April 8th and as per my stay-at-home routine, I checked the John Hopkins coronavirus map first thing. Again, I could believe it this time: over 100,000 more confirmed cases (people) worldwide were reported while I was sleeping. The worldwide total had jumped to just over 1.5 Million. This time I found myself thinking about the science of this virus. I had already delved in to the science on that first day of making this series but as with all COVID-19 related topics, the information was changing daily and I hadn't thought about the science since that first day. I knew the virus had mutated and jumped from animal to human and then mutated at least once and we had identified two main strains "L" and "S." I knew it attacked the lungs and replicated itself and people were drowning. And then I remembered my previous notion of the lungs internally, anatomically, hugging the heart. This is the seventh piece in the series.
