The Santa Ynez Valley (SYV), located just 40 miles north of Santa Barbara, is made up of several small towns including Buellton, Solvang, Santa Ynez, Ballard, Los Alamos and Los Olivos.
Downtown Los Olivos is only a few square blocks but is mainly comprised of award winning wine tasting rooms and restaurants. The town center is marked by a four-way stop sign with a flag pole in the middle. On one of those main corners sits the Los Olivos General Store that has the Larner Winery tasting room.
This piece was created for my art show at the Los Olivos General Store. The building alone knocks me out but the old gas pump and adirondack chairs in front and all the fun chachkies inside, along with the amazing staff make this little gem of a store a must-see if you are ever in town.
