The Santa Ynez Valley (SYV), located just 40 miles north of Santa Barbara, is made up of several small towns including Buellton, Solvang, Santa Ynez, Ballard, Los Alamos and Los Olivos.
Downtown Los Olivos is only a few square blocks but is mainly comprised of award winning wine tasting rooms and restaurants. The town center is marked by a four-way stop sign with a flag pole in the middle. This is the Fess Parker (Daniel Boone) Wine Country Inn.
