Collection: Surf Brain

Any one who spends a significant amount of time in, on or around the ocean gets it. 
The vastness, comfort, violence, organic connectivity, the meditative Zen, the stoke, and the sheer visual beauty. I always find my head-space particularly affected and almost always in a positive way. I call this "Surf Brain."

For months I had been going to local beaches and shooting the sunsets. It took me some time to realize that I was not shooting people on purpose. I had been putting all the shots with people in a folder called "frickinPpl." 
A year later I opened that folder and found gold. Every person has a story to tell. The Surf Brain series is a collection of stories of people and how the ocean influenced them that day.
