04.07.20 - "The Rona 2020: 1.4 Million served worldwide" was created after 19 days of following the "stay at home" order put forth by California Governor Gavin Newsom. I woke up on April 7th and as per my stay-at-home routine, I checked the John Hopkins coronavirus map first thing. I couldn't believe it: over 100,000 MORE confirmed cases (people) worldwide were reported while I was sleeping. The worldwide total had jumped to just over 1.4 Million. This time I was pissed. I spoke to friends and relatives in New York City. We discussed death totals and the situation with the hospitals. We had a few laughs but I couldn't shake the dark cloud and my mood was black. I picked up my pen and started drawing. The world seemed to be shrinking and the virus seemed to be getting bigger. It didn't matter if you were in a city or how big the city was. This is the sixth piece in the series.
